My employer is breaking the law

I’ve posted in here a million times bitching about my job. Ik I look like a whine ass but this place is bogus.I work in property management for a residential landlord under the title of office assistant. I basically do whatever they tell me. Today I learned that our state passed a law last Friday that application fees for rentals can’t be over $20. We’ve been charging $40. I was not notified of this. My applicant told me she refused to apply due to this. I call my boss. He knows. He’s putting it on the back burner. I explain to him that the applicant doesn’t want to apply bc of this. Maybe there’s a way to work it out for her. “If she’s that big of a pain in the ass we won’t be renting to her” Wtfff. Not only that but tenants called and mentioned the overwhelming amount of black mould in their apartment. Another tenant mentioned the foul smell of dead rats in their walls- I’m new so she let me know it’s been infested since they moved in in July. Unless it’s in our office area it really doesn’t get taken care of in a timely safe manner. I’ve been taking notes just in case.

I know I’m on this subreddit every other day but it’s my only outlet at the moment.
