My employer just announced that almost all shifts that fall under my availability are being canceled

I just caught wind today that corporate has rewritten the schedules for my place of work again, and this time only a single one of the shifts falls within the times I am available. Of those shifts each week, 5 of them are taken by someone who has 15 years of seniority over me. If I take the hours that I can from the shifts I can attend, I'm getting less than 14 hours a week. It was suggested to me that if your employer changes the schedule in a way that falls outside your stated availability you may be entitled to unemployment in Washington state. I was planning on quitting this summer anyway to pursue new jobs now that I'm finishing my AA degree, but this is way sooner and more suddenly than I was expecting. What are my options? What am I able to do?
