I started a new job this week , first day there I didn’t know where to punch in and I was only like 3 mins late and the second day is because I was loading my tool box alone and it heavy asf and I was only like 5 mins late and they sent me home today and I live like 40 mins away from my job site , ima entry level diesel tech and it’s only my first week there and I’m trying to get familiar with the route I take and there’s construction on that route , and today just really pissed me off because getting sent home for being 10 mins late because of traffic is insane to me , never did I get sent home from that , I wish they were more understanding of it and how far I am from , I’m interested to work there and stuff but obviously life gets in the way
