Basically what the title says. My girlfriend got a new job starting in May to make ends meet better for herself and her daughter. Yesterday, she gave a very courteous notice to her employers (it’s a small business) that her last day would be 4/26. Today, they sat down with her and told her that they had been running numbers and were needing to ‘reorganize’ anyways, so this works to their advantage to just expedite the process.
Assholes who don’t understand how big of a deal each paycheck is when you’re trying to make ends meet.
