He wanted to retire when he was 55, but that's when his career took off. We are finally debt free, and talked about retirement. I had a part time job, and we were going to retire in June. I retired in June. He did not. There is no end in sight. Don't think that just because you want it, you can actually pull the plug on the income. (We are Medicare age now)
