My interview at Popa John’s.

So I'm in the process of relocating to another city, and I'm trying to pretty much find any job so I don't have to commute to my current job. With a background in the culinary field I figure if I need to, I can get something where I can just pay the bills until I find something that works for me. (side note: I have 10 years in the field doing fine dining or high volume.) One of these jobs I applied for was a supervisor position at Popa John's. During the interview they went over how I would have to start out in their starting position at 16$, and I would possibly be promoted if I worked hard enough. They were saying that 50 cents isn't a lot more than just the basic pay, they're doing so much already by not offering me the minimum wage, and that there's always opportunities for me to get more hours. Bro, if I wanted to work more hours and get better pay, I would work at a sit-down chain restaurant. Also 50 cents more an hour is about 60-70$ with taxes taken out.
