These folks deserve the money they’re offering. Everyone deserves a livable wage. It’s just super disheartening to see that the college values admin. and support roles at this level while instructors like myself can’t afford a house with the embarrassing salary we get. I’m trying to leave but also fighting a “liquidated damages” clause in my contract that will cost me almost 20k just for the privilege of leaving my place of employment.
