As the title says, my job tried to have us all come in on Labor Day. Last week, we received an email that we would be working on Labor Day. This is with our work calendar saying we were off for Labor Day ALL YEAR leading up to this. When I asked my manager about it, he was also upset about it and apparently had a big argument with the regional about it. Our store across the bridge was closed, but not ours. We’ll come Friday, I reviewed another message saying we no WERE NOT working on Labor Day. This just goes to show that if a big enough group throws a fit, they will make the right decision to not lose the very people making them their money. STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES AND OTHERS! IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRULY BRING CHANGE. DO NO GO QUIETLY INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT.
