This is what happens when you leave a company that’s a dumpster fire.
I put in my notice on 07/19. My last day was 08/04. Today the paystubs are released for what should be my last paycheck, 08/11.
I checked last night and KNEW it would be wrong…..my benefits don’t show that I’m termed. I still have the option to clock in and out. The HR person for my entire state (we are a business that operates in 6 different states, and one person covers 20 of our offices….) either quit or got fired before I left.
I sent an email to the generic HR email (again, we operate in six states….but there’s no phone number). I even got on LinkedIn and messaged one of the HR reps from another state.
Sadly, I live in Florida. We have no DOL that enforces state laws, only federal ones. So my options are to wait, post bad reviews, or get a lawyer.
