My last straw at my previous job

I had asked for one Friday off. My boss told me no, she would not be willing to cover it and also said “ You are not due for a vacation yet.” I asked 4 weeks in advance. I had been at work on time, early, every shift, never called out, covered for her for 9 months. I haven’t been on a vacation in 3 years. A few days later, I got an injury at work. I had smashed the absolute fuck out of my finger and thought I had broke it. I went to the ER and got an x ray. Luckily it wasn’t broken but it was very swollen and my whole finger was bruised to the knuckle. The doctor wrote me out for three days because the swelling was pretty bad. My boss said, You need three days off because you hurt your finger? Did you ask…

Obviously not. Idk I’d have more concern over the fact that your employee almost broke her finger rather than immediately asking about everything I did wrong. The day I came back, I quit without notice ( I already had another job lined up)
