I’ve been with my company for 8 years making 43k a year. They offered me a new position and lowballed me with the pay so I asked for 47k. It’s been 3 days and I still haven’t heard anything.
Now I feel like this is fogging my mind and I’ve been making stupid ass, embarrassing rookie mistakes at work!!!! Mistakes over stuff that I KNOW and have been doing for 8 years.
What really keeps me here is comfort. I work from home, I love my team, and I know my job well.
I don’t even know what to do with myself anymore. 5 days a week, 8 1/2 hours a day of my life to barely get by with rent alone.
