My line manager told me “that multiple people find me disruptive asking for their help for 5 mins”.

I am in an entry level training role learning cross-skilling in my job. This means that pre cross-skilling days in my office, people were experts in their departments or have long experience in these departments. They began training us and other colleagues since Sept 22 and Jan 23 respectively. However I need reassurance sometimes with how hiI am doing things in a certain way because they won't allow for things to be done differently. In my induction they were all about showing initiative, getting things done etc is what they wanted. Now 6 months down the line they are saying that this way of doing things is “disrupting people” even though initiative is in their values. I feel like I'm walking on a tight rope here. If I do something that's not in their values or agenda they will pull me to the side and say I'm a problem. I'm…

I feel like I'm walking on a tight rope here. If I do something that's not in their values or agenda they will pull me to the side and say I'm a problem. I'm not, I am doing what they wanted us to have in our interviews. A lot of the work is very linear and repetitive and since new business changes there has been a high turnover. I'm not sure what to do. Its obvious they lied in the induction period.
