i posted here about wanting quit my job at cracker barrel a couple weeks ago, and first off, thank you everyone for the advice!!
as the title states. the job is taking a toll on me, and we got a new manager who is making it even fucking worse. he sits in his office almost the whole time, only coming up to stare over us as we work, scold us for god knows what, and then go back to his office. not to mention he barely schedules anyone for busy days and it's often me stuck at register the whole shift while someone else is trying to clean the store. it's crazy.
now, my mom on the other hand is being terrible about me wanting to quit as if it's her job. i don't care about not having money, i want to enjoy my last year of being a kid basically and focus on grades because with how much i get scheduled, my grades are starting to slip. i am seriously considering just walking out or no calling/no showing but my mom won't let me.
just needed to rant. psa, don't work at cracker barrel. it sucks.
