I’m gonna be a bit vague so I don’t give too many details away. I’ve been living outside of the states for a few years, and I lived in a fairly liberal state when I did. My sister lives in a very conservative state with right-to-work laws. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but my impression is she can’t sue for wrongful termination? Anyway, they let her go and she’s about halfway through her pregnancy. The reasoning they gave for her termination was “we’re going in a different direction.” I’m pretty sure she can still get unemployment, but does she have any other options to file a lawsuit or anything? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!
