Hey Antiwork community,
I wanted to share my experience and thoughts on the journey towards unemployment and embracing the Antiwork philosophy. I recently lost my job for no apparent reason, and it's been a challenging four weeks waiting for my unemployment benefits. Despite holding a college degree, I was struggling to make ends meet on a $19/hour wage.
It's disheartening to see celebrities rake in millions effortlessly, and I can't help but feel frustrated and annoyed as I scroll through social media. These moments remind me why I'm on the path to Antiwork, seeking a life free from the pressures of traditional employment.
I'd love to hear your experiences, advice, or simply share in the solidarity of this community. How has your Antiwork journey been, and what keeps you motivated to pursue a life free from the rat race?
Let's discuss and support each other on our collective quest for a work-free life
