Need advice for reporting child labor violations.

I just got fired from a small business in Mississippi in retaliation to putting in a two weeks notice and for not being at work on a day that I had been approved to take off, but the owner forgot it had been approved. A secret that I and other employees have been keeping is that they have a 14 year old girl working there 40+ hours a week. She had issues at school and has been homeschooling the past two years. She started working for this business when she was either 12 or 13. She is now currently 14. She is a very sweet girl and is not to my knowledge being forced to work because she wants to save up for a car for when she turns 16. However, and it may be petty reason to, I would like to report this business for child labor violations. If they want to fire me in retaliation, I will report them in retaliation. I called the department of labor but it is Sunday and I won’t be able to speak to my state’s department until tomorrow. Again, this is the state of Mississippi so I know labor laws are different in every state. Do any of you think I should report them? How I should do it? Any knowledge about child labor laws in Mississippi. I’ve got research to do on my own but I would appreciate non-biased advice on this situation.
