Short story: I have talked about pay with my coworkers, comparing compensation based off degrees held. An admin overheard (she says a coworker told her of this because she felt uncomfortable, w/e) and I was talked to. I was told to stop and that this was the last straw for me. If something else happens, I’d be fired. I hate this job/admin. I KNOW I’m legally protected in CT to be able to talk about wages with coworkers (3rd para https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/connecticut-law-prohibiting-wage-71714/#:~:text=Under%20the%20new%20law%2C%20employees,no%20obligation%20to%20do%20so.) I want to talk about wages again during my lunch break, in the break room, get fired (don’t care cuz I make $18/hr) and sue. If I get money, great. If I break even, also great. Is this possible? Is it that simple? Please ask for needed details. I’d like the comments to be clear about facts vs opinion. Thanks
