Need advise, suggestions, legal moves and what to do in similar situations

Currently im a Full time employee in a coal mine company been working with them for 1 year and 2 months at my current posistion Located in Canada. I was hired for a certain project in a Lab department, that project was stopped and i was (floating) without a certain role i just help out with the work in the dept. for anything i can do. I was hired for a certain project in a Lab department, that project was stopped and i was (floating) without a certain role i just help out with the work in the dept. for anything i can do. (Most of it is not in my job offer)

Conflict started when our leadhand in that dept started pushing his work to me, Which sometimes i dont do because of all the work load i got, 1 time he got into trouble and was blamed by the higher ups for the delayed results (millions of dollar messed up) after this the supervisor wrote me a memo (it felt like im to blamed for what happed because of this memo) stating i will do his job in a high priority manner (not in my job offer) (leadhand and supervisor are super close even outside work) after this incident my relationship to that leadhand spiraled downwards (we are close before this) yesterday our supervisor told me there is a opening role in a different dept Which i can move into instead of me floating in the curent dept (that new dept and role is very labour intensive work physical work and i dont know if i can do it) but i signed for it anyway because my supervisor told me that if october comes and there will be no opening for the lab dept They will let me go, but i feel this is all schemed by my leadhand (To get rid of me indirectly) because i heard there will be a new project on october for my current dept and will need people to do it. But they signed me up for other dept (they have options to absorb me if this is true) this situation will affect me greatly if i cant do the job and quit or fire me.

Changing dept in our company wil make you do 6 months probationary all over again and rule is you cant go back to the previous dept after. I really like to stay in this dept but with them saying letting me go on october my job security is on the line that is why im forced to signed up for another dept

If october comes and im with the other dept and they hired a person for a role which (which my intuition proven is correct) that this was a scheme to get rid of me indirectly what is my options here? Any advise, suggestion is a great help can i make any legal moves to my supervisor (sue) ?
