Need help on what to say when giving notice

Hello Everyone! I apologize for any formatting issues (mobile) and this is my secondary account, just in case. I hate my job. I’m in property management and my manager and I were chosen to take on a new property along with our current property. It’s been hectic ever since we were chosen. Doing twice the work, same pay, and my manager is constantly leaving early or coming in late – he’s been doing this for a while even before we were given our new property. The new property is still under construction so that’s not been fun to deal with.

My manager and maintenance staff have also been having issues the last few months and there’s been a lot of yelling in the office between them, though it has stopped recently because the maintenance supervisor is transferring. I also feel like I don’t have any work life balance and I have so much anxiety going into work each morning.

I just got hired for a job completely unrelated to property management and I start Aug. 14th. I just don’t know what to say to my current manager. I feel bad because I know he is busy and slammed with both properties, and there’s a fair amount of things that I do in the office that he doesn’t know how to (even though he took the same training as I did and I created a step-by-step guide for most of the tasks in office).

I also tried to leave in March, but they offered me a raise to stay…I’m regretting staying now.

Any advice/suggestions would be helpful and I apologize if this post was all over the place! I was trying to get this posted before my lunch break was up. Thank you! 🙂
