So I've been at my job for 12 years. Started as a C.N.A making $8 and change. 6 years in I moved to a different position making $11and change. After 6 more years, I am again moving to a different position starting at $15.
The problem is I found out the person I'm training to replace me is now making $15 while in still making $11 till I switch over.
And to top off everything else I found out all new C.N.As are starting out at $15. And even worse a friend and co worker who's been there 20+ years and just now at $15.
So am I wrong in thinking this is an insult? Like is $15 the new starting rate if so why are 2 long term employees just getting bumped up and not making more then new employees?
I hope this makes sense. I'm thinking of saying something, just don't know what to say without coming off as too emotionally or just b****y.
