So I got this new bitch ass boss 3 months ago…And within her 1st month she fired 2 people who were doing a good job but not enough to ‘take the company to the next level’…I work in marketing and she is goddamn out of her mind.
I noticed she is always trying to make me feel stupid? It’s like she WANTS me to make mistakes…Here are some examples of the ‘tests’ she does:
- She asked me why I wasn’t asking people when to send the newsletter when a new product comes out. As if it was my job to ask that around and it was my responsibility. It is not.
I told her it always used to be my boss who gave me the go, since the launching dates are always changing and my boss is supposed to know that info before me. She said ok.

She asked me to notify her when a newsletter is ready to be sent. I always do, and idk why this time she asked me that. I already did notify her, and I even sent her a screenshot to prove it. She apologized.

I was supposed to receive lists from one of our vendors, but I didn’t know what they were, like what type of contacts and if I had to create new lists or incorporate the contacts to existing lists. So I asked the vendor, and he didn’t know.
She told me I should ALWAYS come to her for questions. Not other employees. Like wtf, if I need to ask someone a question, I don’t have to run everything by her.
Her micromanaging perfectionism is giving me so much stress, but I’m smart and when she criticizes me I always somehow have valid points, but her attitude is so TOXIC.
I feel like she is out to get me, criticizing my every moves and I now do my job in fear. She is just a fucking ill-intended maniac. It sucks because I love the tasks but she is ruining it by trying to nitpick at everything I do. We are both smart girls, and I think she feels threatened by me and it’s so EXHAUSTING having to report to her every single fucking detail. I don’t want to quit, it’s a great job, but I have to endure her and idk how much more of scrutiny I can take.
She does not have my best interest at heart at all.
