I recently started a new job as case manager. I'm on week three and the cracks are starting to show with the organization. For starters i got lost visiting a client and missed the entire meeting. My supervisor was very understanding. I am new driver. This is all new to me. I am learning an entire brand new job and learning to navigate the road all at the same time. I finally get home safe after being an hour and half away from my targeted visited. I regroup finish up my work for the day. My supervisor informs me that my jeans color are an issue. Not my top but my jeans. It's company policy that we can't wear blue jeans. I have professional clothes that I wear. This job it's business casual while the owners of the show up in shorts and a t shirt. Out of everything i do this position and have learned so far jeans was not in my bingle cards for being flagged about. My partner walked in during this call and had the same confused look on my face when the statement about my jeans was made. I come dressed in proper and bottoms most days so this really through me. My performance since I started has been good. Today was my first hiccup day all around. Has anyone else received petty feedback from a new job before?
