New job is doing things against the DOL.

After being out of work for a while i decided to apply at a place in my town and ended up getting the job. Good hours, decent pay, enough to get by. But theres some things thatve been bugging me.. on my first day, i over heard a manager talking to a worker and i swear i heard “only minors get breaks, not adults” which is against the DOL. Any person who works a consecutive 6hrs needs a mandatory 30 min break. Today, aparently someome had called off and they didnt get anyone to replace them so it was just me handling the work load of 2 which isnt illegal but its shitty in its own way. Ive been there less than a week and i keep hearing “we have expectations here” yet the person who trained me got fired the second day i was there so im kinda on…

Not to mention this is a food service job. Most places have it as a rule that u need non slips. Yea not this place… the smart people there wear non slips, but the kids, nah theyre runnin around in airforces and jordans and shit, then when they go to mop they nearly eat shit on the floor. That whole place is a lawsuit waiting to happen fr.
