New job only allows one break per shift??

Idk if i’ve just been lucky with jobs so far (i’m 30) but literally every job i’ve ever had from retail to a union hospital has had 3 breaks per shift. 2 15s and a 30. so i just assumed it was a law or something. apparently i was wrong, after looking up the laws on breaks there arent really any??? wild. my new job only allows one 45 min break for 8 and 1/2+ hours (even with overtime!). it’s a very physical job on nights and just seems… wrong??? they even dont have a breakroom anywhere near my set area and so by the time i get to sit down to eat and also use the bathroom, i’ve wasted 10 mins. as someone with back issues this one thing is having me already look elsewhere even though i just started. even emailed an old manager asking for my job…

if i didnt desperately need money i’d just walk out honestly. it feels very… exploitative.
