I work for a hotel in the banquets serving department. Banquets is kinda on-call but after new manager came in, he brought his buddies and cut hours from other employees.
I asked him why my hours were decreased and he said 'availability'. I only said 1 day once whenever and I know it's a lie. So what he has been fount is, giving his buddies about 10-16 hours a day and they just fool around or sleep. I sent an email to corporate about it and no response or anything.
His buddies cannot carry a tray or push a cart
The other day one of his buddies dropped down the cart with the food and silverware on the floor. Later on said manager told me I could do my 6 hours and go. He asked me to help his other buddy who had to pull out the tables and set the food and I can leave. I did and left.
A few hours later he texted me asking me why I left when I was supposed to bus the room with him.
Yeah how would you deal with this manager?
