I just started this new job after not working for over a year due to mental health. I really like the job so far. Today I got an email that they have a new policy, no dyed hair. I'm very disappointed. I had planned to dye my hair pink once I could afford it. I was really excited. It's so stupid. I just don't understand how people can view dyed hair as unprofessional. It's also stupid because most of the time with this job you don't interact with customers. They're not allowed onto the main property. Of course the owner who wrote it is a boomer. I guess if I ever want to dye my hair I'll have to wear a wig. Blegh.
