Had an interview this morning with a train company. I lost my voice on Friday and on Saturday morning I decided to let them know I probably wouldn’t make it, in the hopes I could reschedule. Realised there is absolutely NO point of contact. No email, no phone number, not even a name or chatbot. I had to tweet the company to get an email which I’m guessing isn’t manned over the weekend as I’ve had no reply in nearly 24 hours. Yesterday I thought I’d just go in and explain the situation in person but this morning I’m feeling shit as well as voiceless. I just think it’s so disrespectful to not even give me some form of contact and I wanted to email them with a complaint about that but my boyfriend talked me down and i just sent them an email saying sorry I can’t get in touch but I’d like to reschedule. The job is paying less than my current one which I hate so I was more going to see if it was worth the pay cut for my mental health. Well they’re not proving themselves to be a great company so far if I can’t even bloody contact them. Jobs are so frustrating.
