Idk if this is the right group to ask but anyways I’m asking on behalf of my fiancé. He works for a big company where he works one week at home and one in the office. He gets a 1 hour lunch break every day. However if someone doesn’t go to work then it gets cut down to 30 minutes which is still fine. But today 2 people didn’t go to work so he’s getting no lunch break, only a 15 minute break throughout the day. Is this even legal? Seems messed up to me that they punish the rest of the employees for the other ones who didn’t show up.
