So I was laid off on the 9th, I've been putting in over a hundred applications a week since then. I'm finding the indeed algorithm is going like 100 jobs applied, 3-5 employers reach out for phone call interview, 1-2 then ask for an in person interview.
My interview yesterday went really well, I got there 15 minutes early and was in the office for 45 minutes speaking with them. They had me meet their HR, as well as the sales manager and the office manager interviewing me, hyping me up about the position and I seemed like I'd mesh well.
I got this email this morning after what I thought was a great interview. It's just very defeating and the whole job hunting process makes me want to unalive.
TLDR, apply to 99+ jobs a week expect to get 1 interview and then start over the next week. Living in a dystopia makes me sad and anxious.
