“E. SICK TIME
The Company has no paid sick time, will not pay for time away from work due to sickness, and cannot and does not promise that your position will be held for you in the event of sickness. The Company will consider granting unpaid sick leaves or other unpaid leaves of absence on a case-by-case basis, and will grant such leaves in accordance with federal, state or local law as may be applicable. If you have accrued vacation time and chose to do so, you may request permission from management to use accrued vacation to which you may be entitled, if any, to cover sick time. In such case, you must be eligible for such vacation time and have vacation time accrued for the current calendar year. Borrowing future vacation time is not permitted. The Company may require proof of sickness satisfactory to the Company”

Maybe I've been spoiled by past jobs, but I kind of figured offering sick time was common practice. They also dont offer paid holidays or vacation until you've been there a full year.
Even then the vacation is only five days. You have to be there five years to get 10 days and 20 years before you get 20 days.
