So quick story,
I worked as a front desk receptionist for about 10 months and the hotel shares the property with a bar owned by the same person.
Start of the summer owner picked up a government contract to house refugees, says there's no work for me to do, and says he's gonna bring me back end of August when they return to normal.
Last day of work was Monday June 12th
Haven't heard anything back from him yet, and I haven't gotten an ROE to be able to collect EI because “his system crashed and he cant get it fixed”
(This is also why he's had to write out checks by hand with no paystub included)
Now, scrolling indeed, I see my position posted as available with no word.
I've read he only has 5 days to issue my ROE but I haven't been officially fired, what do I do in this situation?
