Not even at an interview yet and I’m already annoyed

I went through a burnout after being used up by my previous employers. Now that I'm finally feeling a bit better and I'm looking for new employment, I have realised that it's not the working part that I'm dreading. What I'm dreading is employers taking me for granted and expecting unreasonable things, while offering barely anything in return. So coming Thursday I have an interview, it's full time position but the recruiter is weary of interviewing me.. because I volunteer for two hours on the same evening every week. So coming Thursday I have an interview, it's full time position but the recruiter is weary of interviewing me.. because I volunteer for two hours on the same evening every week. I've already stated I can change the night that I do this, but that it is not an option for me to be willy nilly about it and having to cancel constantly if my employer wants to put me on the rota suddenly. To me this shows commitment and loyalty and it is a positive trait to have.

And they're seriously nervous about this. Two hours a week in the evening. Meanwhile their policy is to unofficially employ me fulltime, but I have a zero hour contract for the first year with no guarantee that it will be extended.

I genuinely don't understand where the audacity comes from. I'm already hating this job and I don't have the education or experience to demand a lot.

ps I'm in The Netherlands. It isn't the utopia it's made out to be.
