I got a job during the summer 4 years ago whilst I was studying at uni. I told my manager at the time that I would need to swap to working weekends only as I was returning for my second year and wouldn't be available during the week. I was told that this was absolutely fine and that it would get sorted. It was not sorted.
I started working weekends unofficially until they finally updated my contract, but they got my hours wrong. I was working 2x 7 hour shifts but they had me down as work 5 hour shifts. Again I was told it would get sorted and so I continued working those hours unofficially.
THIS YEAR, 4 whole years after I changed my hours I was told that it had finally been sorted and that I would get a couple extra holiday days because of it, but yesterday my manager informed me that I won't be getting paid for my previous or upcoming holidays because I'm at -6 holiday hours currently. Why? Because they still havent corrected my contract. I've been assured that it's been sorted now, but that theres nothing that can be done about my holiday pay. It all just feel like one giant piss take.
