Not just the US sucks – as a teacher in Eastern Europe I make so little that I had to join OnlyFans to be somewhat stabile financially.

Since this sub is mostly about the US, I wanted to have a heart-to-heart with you all about my rollercoaster ride as a teacher here in Europe. You see, I dedicated a good chunk of my life – five long years, to be exact – to becoming a teacher. It was a dream I pursued passionately, fueled by the belief that I could make a difference in young minds and have a fulfilling career. Spoiler alert: it's been anything but. Europe isn't what y'all think it is. Teaching in Europe has been a far cry from what I imagined. The major issue? The pitifully low pay. I thought my efforts would be rewarded with a decent living, but instead, I've been struggling to make ends meet. It's like running a marathon with your shoelaces tied together – you try your hardest, but you're constantly tripping over financial hurdles. And then…

And then there's the stress. Kids these days, bless their little hearts, seem to be getting meaner and more challenging by the minute. It's not just about teaching subjects; it's about being a referee, a counselor, and a babysitter all rolled into one. The stress is so palpable that it feels like I'm constantly walking on a tightrope, and one wrong step could send me tumbling into the abyss.

So, here comes the plot twist. In a desperate attempt to gain some financial breathing room, I did something I never thought I'd do – I started an OnlyFans account. Yeah, you read that right. It's not what I had in mind when I embarked on my teaching journey, but it's putting food on the table and keeping the lights on.

It's frustrating to think that after all the time, effort, and money I poured into my education, I had to resort to unconventional means just to survive. But it's a testament to the harsh realities many educators face in Europe – a profession that's underappreciated and underpaid.

I share this with you all to shed light on the struggles of educators like me, who are caught in a system that values us less than it should. Such a shit..

Stay strong, my American friends. We're in this together, and we really deserve better.
