Basically I work for a blue collar company. I’ve been working here steady for about 4 months. Never signed a contract or anything wasn’t even told how much I was making when I started. Well about two weeks ago I got Covid and was really sick so I took close to a week off due to that. Now this past week and last Friday, I’ve been told through administration that “there’s no work” and there’s “just not enough going on to have you in.” And today I was told that my boss will “call me IF he needs me”. Am I being fired? Should I look for another job? Idk how they can do this to people it’s pretty messed up. Any advice would be nice.
