Old manager and director got karma

I used to work at a facility maintenance company that specifically focused on signage installations (fabricating the signs, permitting, LL approval, drawings, etc) for some well-known retail clients. I worked there for about 8 months and was trained under a manager named “Tracy”. Tracy had been recently promoted to manager when I began, and she was horrible as a manager. Her work not only barely had documentation as to where she would leave off, but she would hardly train me. She had me shadow her for about a week and the “training” was her just telling me to email a few people during the day and join one conference call a week to “learn”. She would message me some drawings to “understand” but would never elaborate on them. I eventually left as although I was learning with a new manager, the director of the department pulled me into the office…

I eventually left as although I was learning with a new manager, the director of the department pulled me into the office and yelled at me for 20 minutes about how “Tracy” reported I wasn't fit for the job and in turn, I was an idiot and had no drive for the position. I immediately quit because I was not only poorly trained but making 20 an hour only to be yelled at.

A friend of mine still works there. She messaged me explaining that they discovered that “Tracy” couldn't train anyone (they had her train 2 more people with minimal success) and that she also was not managing her position. Shortly after, with numerous complaints from various office workers, the director of the company then was demoted as multiple people reported him as mean and demeaning.

Karma finally came back 🙂
