Basically the title says it all. I’m really struggling with this. I found out I was pregnant shortly after starting a new job, which I don’t particularly love. I can’t take FMLA or even short term disability because I won’t be there a year at the time of birth. Im applying places but I’m so scared I won’t find anything because of my pregnancy. I notified my management I was pregnant and the corporate policy is only one week of maternity leave. This is a sales job so I get how it could cause “undue hardship” on the company but come on. It’s not even enough time to heal let alone time to bond with my child and get on a schedule. I feel so lost, any advice is appreciated.
