This is mostly just a rant. I work in a warehouse and for the past 9 months it has gotten really bad. Workers have been complaining about the unsafe and crowded working conditions for months and nothing got done. The second they got a notice from OSHA everything was fixed within days. Yesterday after work at our end of day meeting our AM basically threatened us in to making sure we pass the OSHA inspection. He kept us several minutes after we were supposed to clock out to drone on about how there’s cameras to see who causes anything that might get our company fined. He mentioned if we do get fined it comes out of our budget and mentioned we wouldn’t get any Christmas bonuses. At a previous meeting they also alluded to the fact that maybe we won’t be allowed to have phones on us anymore. I happened to be at least one of the people who contacted OSHA and this whole situation has me genuinely pissed off and wanting to call the teamsters too.
