OSHA requirements regarding wrist/back braces?

Hey all, So I've been suffering from wrist strain/carpal tunnel due to a physically demanding job (packaging and distribution type job). I've been compressing my wrist, which some friends commented on. When I explained to them the situation they said that my employer is required by OSHA to provide wrist braces and back braces, etc. but I cannot seem to find any language in OSHA's standards to back that up. Does anybody know what the deal is? I think my employer should definitely be footing the bill for equipment that will at the very least reduce further injury, but I want to back myself up with legal precedent before I demand it.
