We have a new supervisor that is trying to establish a name for himself. He went from working along side us to trying very hard to make us all know that he is above us. Our shift starts at 4am, and for the last two weeks we have had to deal with VERY long, multi-paragraph emails from him telling us to work harder, better, faster, stronger. You get the point.
It's just relentless and unnecessary. He tells people how to deal with their health issues, and when they can/can't have time off for their life threatening diseases. Just all our tyrannical behavior.
A few of us made a complaint to our direct manager, and we were told to just ignore the emails bc they only apply to the “bad employees”
So if there are “bad” employees causing this guy to stress us all out so badly, why would they not discuss this with the person(s) directly. Bc we don't typically get much feedback for our work. We usually just go in, do the work, and go home.
Nobody on my team has any of these issues dude is bitching about, but we still have to deal with him walking around like Hitler barking orders and monitoring calls and taking up our time, and then taking the time he took from us, against us for productivity.
How do I deal with this dude without having to quit? Bc there are 8 of us, that have worked for this company since 2003 that are about to quit the entire company.
We can't just keep ignoring his shenanigans, it isn't fair to any of us. New or old employees.
Advise would be great. Pls and thx
