Overtime and Oncall in TX.

Does anyone have any experience in trying to get a company operating in TX to pat compensation for being on an Oncall rotation TX? My scenario is every three week in our small IT/Datacenter team I’m Oncall. Requirements being if called upon by the monitoring system I drop everything and go to work. No travel, and I usually don’t plan any events. My assumption is that since I have to alter my life in a way that gives up personal freedoms to travel or engage activities that would justify compensation. My fear is that TX is not worker friendly so I’m out of luck.
