A few months ago, me and another former employee of a company created a Glassdoor page for a company that we both worked at. We also wrote a review each about how racist, sexist, and bigoted the owner was along with how awful the job was (the company was only 10 employees, so we dealt with the owner every day). I could tell you countless awful stories about the company, but just know it was really bad.
Anyway, I just got an email that three new reviews were added to the company and all posted on Friday. Seems like the owner found the bad page, read the bad reviews, and decided to ask employees to write new five star reviews. One of the reviews was clearly written by an old employee that was so bad that most of the office refused to work with him because of how verbally abusive he was anytime you talked to him. His review claims some of the employees were entitled (clearly meant to dismiss the bad reviews). The other ones are more general, but this one really gets under my skin because of how awful this person is.
Is there any way to comment on other people’s reviews or anonymously report the new reviews since they were solicited by the owner (pretty sure the owner actually wrote one of them). I seriously don’t want future employees to fall for those fake reviews and end up in a bad company because of it.
