My idea for non-violent revolution
MAINLY INTENDED FOR THE USA Revolution is scary, especially when we live in a world with so many comforts that we don't want to destroy, but the truth is that as the world is right now none of us are able to experience all the comforts of living in the modern world, bc half of America is living paycheck to paycheck. But here's how we can have our cake and eat it too, bc why have a cake if you're not gonna eat it? It just doesn't make sense. If you see something you disagree with, or something you'd like to add feel free to leave a comment or just pm me and I'll edit the post. I imagine that with enough people we can do this for a week and win back our country without any problems. Quit Taking their Bullshit Damnit Q: Quit your job By quitting their…
this is a very long post TLDR- my boss uses me and abuses her power in the work place and my only escape is reading zombie apocalypse books while i wait for my inevitable death* I started my newest job early February of this year. My first red flag should’ve been the 30 day trial period with no pay until the end of the month. Thankful i didn’t leave my other job until a few months later. The interview was probably max 10 minutes. It was scheduled for 9am i got there at least 20 minutes early. Waiting for about 15 minutes past 9 and was told i would be offered the job immediately and started at $15 an hour due to my lack of knowledge in the field (experience of 1yr or more in my field is minimum $18/hr) and after my 30 day trial period i would be…
Top tip for office workers
I can’t find a work I like
I have been working for two months in a new job. It is providing me money (not enough but better than nothing) but it also takes 12 hours of my day. I feel exhausted everyday of the week. It is in the tech field but my goal was always to work in the arts and culture field. I think of maybe doing a masters in restauration and art conservation in Europe but now I'm in my early 30s and I'm afraid I won't be able to get a job in the art field and that maybe I should stay in the tech field forever but it is just so exhausting and it does not bring me any joy or any personal satisfaction. I don't want my life to be like this forever. I just feel like this: https://www.tiktok.com/@readchoi/video/7279193069151325483?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7046982787585721862

I am putting in my letter of resignation very soon and I would like to ask you guys what you would say to your manager? I don’t want to stay in a place I am not appreciated and treated badly. My manager is very nosey; he will undoubtedly ask where I am going when I put in my resignation. What can I say that is cordial/professional but does not reveal anything? I know I don’t owe him anything, but I don’t want to come off as rude (even though its none of his business) and sink down to his level. TIA
