I am coming back to University and will be beginning my student job again where I (and every other student) only work Saturdays and Sundays. I requested a day off three weeks in advance and was met with hostility, and a threat to fire me? I ended up realizing that this work environment will not be suitable for me, and offered to be let go. However, she has done a complete 180 after I expressed this. I honestly just want to quit gracefully at this point. Any advice for me?

I am thankful for what I have don't get me wrong, however every week what little money I have goes faster than the last, prices just keep rising and the pay rate stays the same way what's the trick for making it?

I’ve been debating posting this for a while, but have decided I want to get it off my chest. (Also, apologies but this is a long rant!) A couple of months ago, I worked for a call centre type business, which allowed remote working after 3 months of employment. Prior to starting work with them I informed them of my chronic health condition, which means that I sometimes struggle to drive or even leave the flat if not handled in time. The manager I spoke to empathised and was really nice, reassuring me that should my sickness become an issue, we would have a conversation about how to manage it and continue my employment. I would like support, please. I would like support please. I have just been fired from my job, via email, unexpectedly, with no warning… the job I started less than a month ago and left my old job for… the job I “manifested”. I don’t quite know what to do. So far I’ve just emailed back asking if we are able to meet to discuss this and to hopefully receive an explanation. I hate having the feeling of dread and nausea every time I go to work. Everyday I feel like it’s going to be a bad day, and feel exhausted just by thinking about work. I don’t like having conversations with people, and criticize myself whenever I mess something up or don’t understand how to do something even after being told how to do it.
