So instead of 15 an hour minimum nationaly ,why not create a new bureau which breaks down each state into multiple economic districts(based on cost of living) and estimates the cost of living in each of these districts and updates them every 2-5 years? The calculated cost of living would then have to be covered by a 9-5 5 day a week workplace. Would you like this?Because it would mean that in the future there will not need to be a fight to keep increasing the minimum wage and would attack one of the main arguments of conservatives, that in some states 15 an hour is too much. There would of course require to be some predefined statistics that are measured to determine the cost of living, care in drawing the districts, and care put in to avoid loopholes
Is it high time to take the initiative?

I might quit
Today is my second week at Nordstrom. Before this job I haven’t had a job in years and I might even quit today. The thought of having to go somewhere I don’t want to be eats me alive. I’d have to get a new job tho so idk what to do.
