I am a healthcare worker and I posted here before. A doctor at work just gaslighted me and threw me under the bus. I had a safety question and the doctor said that he will need more info before we proceed. I talked to the patients nurse and everything was fine. In the morning they questioned the doctor why he did not get the exam done and he said he never told me to get info and its all my fault. I came to work to find an email from the manager basically stating that the patient was unnecessary delayed because of me. I am so frustrated and angry.

Turns out most Food Service managers are worse to workers than MBAs are taught to be.

I work for a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Florida. We provide community mental healthcare in a capacity that works with Medicaid and Medicare, Lutheran services, and receives grants to fund specific programs. I am an hourly/non-exempt employee. Today, I made two discoveries regarding my pay, and am wondering what my next steps are (if any). I was hired in October at $16.00/hour in position X. I found out today that I was entered in under a different position title Y, and have been paid $15.26/hour. My coworkers J (who has been there 1.5 years in position X) and O (who has been there 1 month in position X) are both earning $16.00/hour. This $0.74 difference amounts to roughly $950 I haven’t earned in the 8 months I’ve been there working 40 hours a week. Am I entitled to this money back? So here I am, sold my soul to the University rip-off: Undergrad from Ivy League, MBA, RN (just finished out my nursing degree, long story), doing my thing. The Owner of our company, let’s call him Dr. J , is at a company dinner and we get to talking. I work in Clinical Research so it’s in my wheelhouse but it’s a grind. Constantly traveling, pay isn’t great, no benefits. Well, Dr. J starts out lamenting that the company is loosing money.
