So I was hired for a temp position last year around May and my start date was end of May. They were supposed to send me a laptop, information for direct deposit, all of this. I got through the drug test, the background check. Everything turned out fine. I get to the friday before my start date and they decide they wanted to push it back to the first week of July. Okay, no problem, I can make that work. Luckily my mom was able to loan me some money to pay my rent (which saved my ass) and I waited it out.
