I have to concur!
Sunday scaries? It’s not you, it’s them
Called my parents a while ago. My mother in particular is a VERY extreme far-right trump supporter and both my mom are fervent fanatical supporters of capitalism. For them, capitalism and corporations can do no wrong, ever. All bad press about ANY company they immediate claim is fake news or “that didn't happen”. They spend all day, almost everyday in their retirement watching One America News, Fox News, and far-right conspiracy theory stuff. Shared with them the news that I heard that at a company in my area, somebody is trying to unionize it. Talked a bit about it, my parents are in disbelief why anyone would want a union at that company. I comment “Unions in general are good, are the reason workers and employees have the rights, protections, and benefits they have. And the working conditions they enjoy were earned by the efforts of organized labor. The people…
They just keep moving the line.

I’m exactly one week into my new job and I just left halfway through my shift and emailed to tell them that I quit. The managers were extremely rude to me and changed my schedule without notice after explicitly telling me my schedule would be consistent. My first day they got mad at me for not staying late to finish up the work they didn’t schedule me enough time for. My coworkers were so rude to me they made me cry as I was working. What do I do now??? I’ve been applying everywhere that seems tolerable but I don’t have enough savings to last long, and the spot I just quit is the only place that’s got back to me in a few months of job hunting.
Does past disability impact future jobs?
Idk where to ask this really but thought here might find me an answer. I live in the US. I’ve been debating going on disability. I have Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. Don’t wanna debate anyone on if I qualify lmao. I’m working on my GED and want to go to college for psychology. Im wondering if me going on disability now can impact me getting hired for future jobs? Would I be seen as somehow “unreliable”? Can they even see if I was on disability at one point? If I’m denied a job for past disability, is it legal?
