I love my co workers but my company is not helping me survive at 28 I finally found a job I love and I’m scared I’m gonna have to leave due to not being able to survive
I work at CCF. I started during Covid time and have been there for 1.2 years or so. For those 1.2 years they had a system where you bus and clean the table and place plates and rolled up silverware on top of the plates. They just recently changed the system to where we try not to act like a glorified glory days and have to place the silverware on the table around a plate with a napkin on top of the plate. The silverware lays on the bare table. Two things: As bussers we have to set the tables(the servers are supposed to help but-) and usually we have to bus and then wipe and then set. I don’t clean my hands in between. I try to set the silverware not putting my dirty fingers where your mouth would be but it’s difficult. Two: we put the £¥€#ing silverware…
they can’t arrest us all
I'd like to be a plumber, an electrician, a nurse or to pick up trashes for a living, but it's high effort low reward. From now on, I'll focus only on trying to win as much as I can with minimum effort. I start at my new full remote fulltime dev job 1st of September, payed 3k5 a month. I'm a shit if I spend more than 3 hours a day working on the project. Hopefully I can retire at 35 with my current lifestyle and finally start to live as a free man.
I’m sick of management. They know prices are up across the board. 100% on fuel, 40% on groceries, rent through the roof. And management wants you to do what? Cut the fuck back. Fuck that. Fuck your pay me. I’m asking for a raise today. I’m asking tomorrow. If I don’t get it I’m looking for a new job. I will find it.
I think it was already an annoying policy when I worked in big retail stores. Why is it my job to find coverage for my shift? Isn't that what the MANAGER does? Not to mention, in my new position, THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 4 EMPLOYEES. One of which is supposed to be going on vacation with me…. ffs. What does does my boss expect me to do lol
Here’s the link to the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Anarcho_Capitalism/comments/uvrmwf/unfettered/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf It basically explains how Norway is a good country compared to the US, but the way it lables Norway as a socialist nation is not even correct. I’m not right leaning, but we have to acknowledge that Norway (and all the other nordics) are capitalistic countries. We’re social democracies. We’re also way more politically homogenous, have different demographics of people living inside our country and a drastically lower population. This comparison is just pathetic and such a bad way of pointing out the negative sides of the US
