Its been like this for years businesses constantly post help wanted signs do nothing with the mountains of applications they receive. Anytime I've looked for a job its been like this. Where I currently work they had me send an application in twice before reading it because they only wanted serious candidates. Laughable. I got a call recently from a place I applied at 4 months ago saying they just got around to reading their applications as if someone can wait around for a job that long. Stop bitching about being understaffed if you arnt going to do anything about employeeing people.

Once worked a service job that required employees to wash their hands every 15 minutes. Guidelines stated that hand washing should take up to 5 mins.. I enjoyed the hell out of spending 1/3 of my working day washing my hands as per company rules!
